Dawes Fleur
We bought this bike from another project. It's interesting as it's had many modifications and accessories fitted in the 1980s to make it more suitable for touring. As standard it would only have had a rear rack and a double chainset. the gears have also been upgraded. The lights are powered by a dynamo that is driven by the tyre tread and mounted under the bottom bracket. These worked better than tyre sidewall drive, for about a month until water and grit destroyed the bearings.
This bike has now been dismantled and will be rebuild in a different form. Sadly there is no market for time capsule touring bikes.
