Introduction

Welcome to 'Uncommon Wheel' - the bike geek  website of Common Wheel's Bike Project. It's about bikes made, repaired or seen at our workshops in Glasgow.  It's an old school website, best viewed on a desktop computer screen.

Common Wheel is a mental health charity based in Glasgow providing a variety of meaningful activities for folk with mental health issues. Founded in 2001, we provide art, music and climbing projects as well as our Build Your Own Bike project.
Picture
Neil shows Lilly the dog hub gear internals, explaining to her that it's imortant to check the new part is the same as the old part.
Uncommonwheel has many sections, notably galleries of bikes and bike parts, the history of Common Wheel, silly things, pictures of cats and whatever else Neil McDonald thought might be of interest to other people. There's a menu at the top of the screen, have a click about and see where the internal links take you. Definitely click here to see the point.

Please note this is not the official Common Wheel website, and is mainly written by Neil,  Maryhill Workshop Leader. The opinions expressed on this website are Neil's personal views and are not those of the organisation. If you would like to find out more about Common Wheel and our projects, click the button below to visit our website.

Neil is also not that great a typist and this website creation software doesn't have a spellchecker, so if yu find a typo email him [email protected]
