Pashley Roadster
Pashley are a British company who have been making bikes in Stratford upon Avon since 1926. They specialise in "classic" bikes, made using traditional methods. Their website is filled with lovely pictures of bikes in beautiful settings, with lots of flowers. They don't sell clothing, they offer "attire".
Some people love them. I don't like them at all.
Pashleys look good from a distance, but are heavy and fail the handling test. Traditional methods of construction are all very well, but some fell out of use because they are weak and heavy. This doesn't matter to the Pashley buyer, and if all you want is a nice ornament to sit in the hall they are great.
If Pashley made an exact copy of a classic Raleigh, Hercules, Sunbeam or Humber Roadster I would be delighted. They don't.
I shall pick apart the details in the image captions. The green Pashley is five years old and has never been used.
