Silver Mixte
We sold this bike about 2009, during our coloured brake lever period*. It's been in constant use since then, and had a few repairs but not the attention it really needed. When it came in it was making at least three separate bad noises, and the front rim was badly worn and about to explode.
We were very pleased to see it back. It's good that we made a bike the customer loves and rides all the time. It is a good example of our Sustainable Bike philosophy, where you get a good bike and keep it.
*Coloured bike parts had gone out of fashion, and were being sold off cheaply. As they were the same as the silver parts, we passed the savings on to the customers who were happy with good parts for less money.
