Coventry Eagle
This frame had been in stock for about a year when someone came in with some 26 inch wheels and a heavy boring frame and wanted a bike made. As we would have had to find a period fork for the supplied frame, we were able to persuade him that using this frame is a better option.
We don't know that much about the frame apart from what is obvious from looking at it. The rear dropouts are Osgear, and the small tubes on the rear stays and forks seem to be for fitting mudguards. It's very light, the whole bike only weighs 10kg. If anyone knows more please email.

The build is timeless. We cleaned the bike and removed the rust, then varnished it. The crank is a Sugino copy of the TA, the brake levers are a Tektro version of an old design, calipers are Weinemann and the handlebars are Ergotech Stugarter mounted in the "Scorcher" or "Path Racer" way for the photos. The customer asked for them to be put on the normal way (as we knew he would) once he'd tried them. Upside down they are comfortable, but a bit racy for the intended use along the canal path.
The largest sprocket was fitted for testing, as it's easier to fit a smaller one and shorten the chain than have to lengthen it.
